Summary of Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Director to join a well-established independent business, with over 20 years of experience in the Spirits industry. As part of the Senior Management Team, the role will give the right candidate the opportunity to shape and develop the business for further growth.
This hands-on role will report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for the financial strategy, processes, and control. You will be well versed in providing accurate, relevant, and timely financial reporting and adhering to financial ‘best practice’ and regulatory standards at all times whilst maintaining high levels of customer service. Supporting the Senior Management Team, you will be pivotal in making sound commercial decisions in order to grow revenue and profit. You will be a proven manager with experience in leading and developing a Finance Team, the role will also assume responsibility for the HR and IT Functions.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will hold a professional accounting qualification (CA, CIMA, ACCA), demonstrate excellent communication and written skills and be a competent user of IT, experience in FMCG and ERP systems would be an advantage.
